The Data Card Kit, The beginning of PRSSMFG

It all begins with an idea. I started my intro to precision rifle shooting in early 2018 with a 308 Remington 600 and a sfp moa scope and some guesstimated dope in a notepad. I shot my first match in 2019 and quickly learned that was not going to cut it. Throughout the early days of shooting long range, I used several different methods of keeping data for my rifle, from note cards taped to the stock, written on my arm, or hopefully memorized! In the years following I observed many other shooters using many different data card mounts, arm boards etc. None of them really stood out to me. they were either wildly expensive or didn’t have the rigidity that I was looking for.

In 2021 I purchased my first 3d printer and soon after started developing a data management solution for myself. by early 2022 I had designed and printed the first generation of what is now our tried-and-true data card kit. after a few design changes and an exit from a less-than-ideal job I decided to start selling the data card kits locally and on forums. The popularity soon exploded, and the kit is now in the hands of shooters worldwide. The data card kit was the first product I sold and would ultimately be the catalyst to start PRSSMFG.
